Material & Construction

  • Upholstered in genuine leather with a semi-aniline finish - dye is sealed with a thin top coat so the natural character and soft, supple feel of the hide come through; synthetic leather (PU) is used on some areas.
  • Because the leather is a natural material, scars and grain marks differ from piece to piece, giving every sofa its own character.
  • Genuine leather is supple, durable, breathable and moisture-absorbing, and it copes well with changes in temperature.
  • Synthetic leather (PVC / PU / soft leather) is water and stain resistant, and soft leather is engineered to feel close to real hide.
  • Seat suspension uses S-shaped springs - serpentine steel springs arranged in parallel across an arched frame, the most widely used sofa spring type.
  • High-density urethane foam padding gives a plump, resilient seat that resists sagging.

Care Instructions

  • Genuine leather needs a dedicated leather cleaner (sold separately) roughly once every 4 to 5 months; without oiling, the leather can dry out and crack.
  • Synthetic leather areas can simply be wiped with a damp cloth.
  • For stubborn marks on synthetic leather, wipe with a cloth dampened with a mild neutral detergent.

Safety & Handling

  • Leave at least 10 cm between the sofa and the wall so the recliner can operate freely.
  • The child lock stops the recliner from being operated; reclining is unavailable while the lock is engaged.
  • This model is made to order.
  • Minimum delivery access width required: approximately 65 cm.
