Care Instructions

  • Machine washable - place in a laundry net.
  • Always wash before first use.
  • Wash separately from other items using neutral detergent only, without fabric softener. Use a generous amount of water and extra rinses rather than relying on a standard machine cycle.
  • Do not use chlorine bleach, as it causes colour loss.
  • Do not use detergent containing optical brighteners.
  • Do not tumble dry, as this causes linting.
  • Avoid fabric softener, as it reduces absorbency and causes linting.

Safety & Handling

  • Some lint and colour loss occurs at first; this settles down after about four or five washes.
  • Do not leave the item soaked or damp for long periods, as the colour may transfer to other items.
  • Wash separately from dark colours, as dye may transfer.
  • The surface is napped, so a flame held close to it can flash across the pile. Do not use near naked flames.
