The pendant light is a well-known design dating back to the 1960s, when the managing director at the time sought to give classic lighting designs a fresh and modern direction.
A young architecture student and talented designer introduced a range of modern and distinctive lamp designs. With their seemingly random arrangement, the flowing lines create a strong contrast to the straight folds of traditional pleated lamps.
The first model was released in 1971, with new sizes being added to the collection into the 21st century.
